Kent Pro Football Player- Morris “Red” Badgro

Our last Pro Football player from Kent is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame- Morris Hiram “Red” Badgro!
He went to Kent High School, played for the New York Yankees of the All-American Football Conference in 1927, then the New York Giants, coached at the University of Washington and got inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1981.

Kent Pro Football Player- Jeff Jaeger

Another pro football player who got his start in Kent is Jeff Jaeger. He is a kicker that went to Kent Meridian High School.
He played for the University of Washington, the Cleveland Browns, the Los Angeles Raiders/ Oakland Raiders and the Chicago Bears.

Kent Pro Football Player- Kai Ellis

Another Kent native who went into pro football was Kai Ellis. He graduated from Kentridge High School!
He played for the University of Washington, the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League, the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent, the Calgary Stampeders, Ottawa Renegades, and Montreal Alouettes.

Today’s home grown pro football player graduated from Kentwood High School- Ernie Conwell!
He played for the St. Lewis Rams and the New Orleans Saints!
