This was on the front page of The Seattle Daily Times on June 4, 1918, during WWI. It is interesting that they started giving children preventative healthcare to grow better soldiers one day.

One hundred years ago the U.S. entered WWI. While perusing The Kent Journal & Des Moines Intercitian Newspaper from 1918, a year later, we’ve found some amusing ads. Here is one example from Scott’s Emulsion.
